VEAL WITH BEER SAUCE

  1. 90 gr. lean boneless veal, boiled
  2. 300 gr. smashed potatoes
  3. 130 gr. beer sauce
  4. Salad: 200 gr. lettuce, 200 gr. tomatoes
  5. 70 gr. total milling bread
  6. 200 gr. apples

Mashed potatoes ingredients :

    • 600 gr. boiled potatoes
    • 200 gr. complete milk
    • 25 gr. margarine
    • Cooked food quantity 825 gr.

 

Beer sauce ingredients :

  • 40 gr. flour
  • 400 gr. beer
  • 20 gr. sugar
  • 20 gr. olive oil
  • 1 small spoon of vinegar
  • 1 spoon of meat jiuce
  • 1-2 laurel leaves
  • Cooked food quantity 520 gr.

 

Wash the meat, remove all the fat that is visible and boil it along with the spices that you desire.

For the beer sauce, lightly warm 20 gr. of sunoil and immediattely after that add 40 gr. flour, mix it for a while and then add 400 gr. of beer. After that add 20 gr. of sugar, 1 full spoon of meat juice, 1 small spoon of vinegar and if you like 1-2 laurel leaves. After you add all the ingredients turn up the cooking temperature so that the sauce gets thick. Keep mixing during the whole procedure.

If you like, after you get 90 gr. from the boiled veal for your portion, place the veal in an earthen container, pour 130 gr. beer sauce, cover the earthen container with tinfoil and leave it in the oven, to cook, for a while.

For the mashed potatoes, boil the potatoes, skin them and melt 600 gr. Boil 200 gr. of milk and slowly add it to the mashed potatoes ανακατεύοντας. To finish add 25 gr. margarine.

When the food is ready, serve 300 gr. mashed potatoes and the veal along with the beer sauce.
